I've just achieved my three thousandth hit. How terribly exciting. Well, I say it's exciting, but actually if I sit down and think about it that's only 20 hits a day since I started this blog in October. And about 5 a day are from people looking for photos of ostriches or naked men (no, I don't know how they get sent here, either...)
But still, I'm quite pleased that people are coming back and sticking with it - I know I do go on a bit (alright, a lot), but I enjoy writing and hopefully that comes across. There'll be plenty more gigs to come this year, from all kinds of artists. I might even review some new albums, if I can stop listening to M83 for long enough to play any.
In the meantime, I recorded an interview with my friend Bob for his Podcast "Dead Nobodies", in which I talk about all the gigs I went to last year before I started this blog. I've just finished listening to it and it's amazing what you can do with computers these days, I almost sound like a functioning member of society. I didn't like the way he made me sound like I was talking about David Hasselhoff though.
Check it out below, or on iTunes.
